We’ve moved to two services!

God has brought increase to Victory Life and we’ve made room! Sunday mornings we now hold two services one at 9:30am and the other at 11:15am. Would you pray about how you can get more involved and use your God-given gifts to serve the body at Victory Life?

Now more than ever we’re asking those who call Victory Life their home to get involved! Below are just a few ways you can commit to helping us as we’ve made room to reach more people for Jesus Christ.

Commit to Praying

We believe in the power of prayer. It’s our first response, not our last resort. We understand that holding two services can be both exciting and challenging, which is why we would greatly appreciate it if you could join us in praying for VLC every week!

Commit to Serving

Would you be willing to join a Serve Team and commit to serving at one service and attending the other? Your contribution would make a huge difference in creating a warm and welcoming environment for everyone who attends our services.

Commit to Inviting

It's time to take action! Let's spread the word and invite others to church. We can make a massive impact when we share on social media or distribute invite cards. Bringing someone to church has the power to transform their life for the better.

FAQ

  • 9:30am & 11:15am. Each service will be no longer than 1hr 10mins long.

  • Absolutely. Same worship. Same message. Same speaker. The idea is not to create two completely different services but two of the same!

  • Yes! Our Sunday morning groups are so important to us. Those groups start at 8:30am and will get out 10 minutes or so before the 9:30am service.

  • Yes! Kids check-in for the 9:30am service begins at 9:10am. Kids check-in for the 11:15am service begins at 10:55am.

  • With services being roughly an hour and ten minutes long that usually leaves 30-35 minutes in between the two services. We encourage you to stick around and hang in the lobby or outside the building. Some of the best conversations happen before and after services!

  • Click here! If you want to get involved and make a difference in the life of our church and others, consider joining a Serve Team. We have a variety of teams to choose from, including Welcome, Ushers, Kids, Worship, Production, and more. Use your God-given gifts and talents to serve today. Click here to join a team.

  • Other than worship and production every other serve team asks their people to only serve one service. We highly encourage you to serve one and then attend the other.

  • Previously, many of our volunteers only served twice a month, as serving more frequently meant they would miss out on being part of the service most months. However, since we’ve transitioned to two services, many have committed to serving almost every week! This is because they now know that they will always have the opportunity to sit in the service they are not serving in. That’s why we encourage the “serve one, sit one” approach.

  • Great question! You will check them in before the first service and check them out after the second service. Please notify the check-in team that your kid(s) will be staying for both services. If you have teenagers (12 and older) we encourage them to serve and attend with you!

  • Please pray for God’s favor to continue to be upon our church. Pray God brings and raises up more servants who can use their God-given gifts for the church. Pray our current workers and staff for God to give us what we need as we have set out to do more. Pray our unity and fellowship isn’t impacted in a negative way.

  • In a small church everybody knows everyone. Two services may take some of that familiarity away but the goal isn’t to try and connect with everyone. That would be impossible. Instead we say it this way - everyone needs to connect with someone. Are you part of a small group? Are you part of a serve team? Those are both great options to really find community and growth in a church with multiple services.

  • We will never say no to someone wanting to give above and beyond their tithe to the church for something like this. If God is putting that on your heart please contact us by calling the office at 9549166789 and we would be more than happy to share with you some of those needs.
